Hi all,
We have arrived at a time when we, as patients, have to fight for what we have already achieved, as a basis for participating in community life and participating in the work process, before further developments or modifications should take place. The fact that 273,000 people suffer from craniocerebral trauma every year (Rickels study from 2006) requires us to devote ourselves more to people with "acquired brain damage" than before.Syrian Christians face the difficult question of how to preserve their communities. The Islamic State (ISIS) and other Islamist groups target Christians for a variety of reasons, including to gain credibility as the implementers of “true” Islam and for economic reasons, forcing Christians to pay higher taxes (Jizya), seizing their property, and even capturing Christians as slaves. Christians in regime territories are safe from immediate danger, but struggle to keep their communities together.
